Here are some of the speakers that we will have at the Congress!

Ms. Christina Lamas

Executive Director, National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry

As the Executive Director, she oversee the administration, management, and operations of NFCYM. This includes, but is not limited to, serving on the Board and various teams, serving as the NFCYM liaison with outside organizations, directing all public relations and advocacy functions.

Dr. Susan R. Burns

President, College of Mount Saint Vincent

Dr. Burns has dedicated herself to the common good, Vincentian service, and the Catholic intellectual tradition. She is committed to providing transformational student-centered learning opportunities in and beyond the classroom.

Sr. Myrna Tordillo, MSCS

Assistant Director, Asian and Pacific Island Affairs

Sr. Myrna Tordillo, MSCS, is a member of the Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo (Scalabrinians). She is committed to provide more opportunities for Asian and Pacific Island Catholics to engage in the life of the Church and help shape its evangelizing mission.

Fr. Joseph Laramie, S.J.

Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network National Director

Fr. Joe Laramie, S.J. is a Jesuit priest ordained in 2011. He is the author of Abide in the Heart of Christ: a 10-Day Personal Retreat with St Ignatius Loyola, based on the Spiritual Exercises. Fr Joe is also a National Eucharistic Preacher for the USCCB Eucharistic Revival.

Bishop Andrew H. Cozzens

Bishop, Diocese of Crookston, MN

Bishop Cozzens is the Chairman of the USCCB Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis and successor to Bishop Robert Barron of Los Angeles. He is charged with leading the Eucharistic Revival Initiative.

Fr. Martin Moran

Director, Campus Ministry & University Chaplain

Fr. Moran has considerable experience in campus ministry with prior service for 10 years at Bucknell University and Wilson College and six years as executive director of the Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA). He is founder of the Mother Maria Kaupas Center in Mount Caramel, Pennsylvania.

Fr. Francis Tran Anh Vu, Ph.D.

Former VEYM Assistant Chaplain for Academic Affairs

First earning a licentiate from the Gregorian Pontifical University in Rome, Fr. Francis Vu Tran, SCJ is a doctoral graduate in Sacred Theology.
Fr. Francis Vu Tran, SCJ served as the district superior of the Vietnamese District.

Dr. Timothy Trainor

Retired Army General & President, Mount St. Mary’s University

Retired Brig. Gen. Timothy Trainor formerly served as dean and chief academic officer at United States Military Academy before retiring after a 33-year career with the Army. As an engineer officer in the U.S. Army, Trainor served in operational assignments around the world.

Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, HLVCC​

Chief Academic Officer​

Linh Nguyen received his Doctoral Degree in Education from the University of Southern California and works as an IT Manager at the University of California, Irvine. Tr. Linh has served as the President of the VEYM National Executive Committee and as Chief Financial Officer. Recently, he was elected and served as the Chief Academic Officer to provide leadership and implement effective policies and academic programs.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, HLVCC​

Dr. Thanh Tam is a medical doctor from California and is VEYM’s newest Youth Leader Trainer / Level III (Huấn Luyện Viên Cao Cấp). She specializes in working with special needs children and has many years of experience in TNTT from which to share.
